AMAA adds more audited websites, gains momentum

The Audited Media Association of Australia (AMAA) has added four new sites to its roster of audited members with the addition of motoring specialist publisher CarAdvice.com.au, real-estate professionals resource site EliteAgent.com.au; and Musicfeeds.com.au and bubhub.com.au from Evolve Media Australia who will also be setting up more sites to report in the coming months.

Demand for the service has been gaining momentum with support and encouragement from the Digital Working Committee (DWC), which oversees the service and its development. The DWC is chaired by Ricky Chanana, National Digital and Trading Director at Maxus, and is supported by a committee with strong agency, advertiser and publisher representation from across the AMAA membership.

The addition of these four sites brings the total to over 70 and was welcomed by the DWC Chair, Ricky Chanana “It’s great to see more publishers embracing the AMAA audit process and recognising the importance of providing better accountability to media buyers and advertisers.”

“The Digital Working Committee has worked with the AMAA to deliver a service accessible by the smallest website publisher to the biggest with metrics based on global standards.” said Chanana.

“At CarAdvice our advertiser base is underpinned by some of the most well known automotive brands in the world.  As Australia’s fastest growing publisher in this highly competitive space, we take our responsibility to provide complete transparency around the media they are purchasing very seriously” commented James Ward, Associate Publisher at CarAdvice.com.au

The roster of audited members includes recent additions Behind The Wheel, Childmags.com.au, and Cosmosmagazine.com.au adding to the diverse range of sites including 97.3 Coast FM, 1688, Aged Care Guide, Aviation Trader,  BestAdsonTV, Business News, Campaign Brief, Chartered Accountants, , Concrete Playground, Crikey, , Ecogeneration, Investment Magazine, Hojunara, Kanganews, LuxuryTravelMag, Medicine Today, Mivision, Mumbrella, MYGC, NCAH, Pedestrian.TV, Photo Review Australia, PSNews, RadioToday, Rescu, Star Observer, StudentVIP, The Monthly, TimeOut, and Your Mortgage to name a few.

The service is aligned with the AMAA’s non-profit mission and remains focused on bringing accountability and trust between advertisers, agencies and publishers, something the body has delivered for more than 80years through its ABC, CAB and ABA audit brands.

The AMAA’s audited website measurement service is delivered through key technology partners and four key elements; a tag management system – SuperTag by Datalicious;  automated site scanning technology delivered by ObservePoint; at the centre of the service, an analytics platform –comScore’s Digital Analytix; and the AMAA’s audit services and data reporting to ensure robust and consistent audited measurement.
