ABC data release period ending September 2016

ABC Audit Data Now Available

The AMAA's ABC paid media circulation audit data is now available for members via the eData portal. The data provides the industry with an update on paid print and digital newspaper and magazine sales for period ended September 2016

ABC reporting now includes more comparison metrics in the data release, delivering period-on-period (POP) reporting and percentage change along with the traditional year-on-year (YOY) reporting.

The new POP reporting highlights not only the fast pace of change affecting all media – a year is now a long window for media – it also brings ABC reporting into line with other reported media metrics.

YOY reporting is preserved due to the seasonality effect on sales for some publications.

 

AMAA has provided the two guides to aid members understand how ABC’s Digital and Total Masthead Sales metrics relate to ABC Print and Digital Sales reporting and better understand ABC’s publicity rules:
